Ferrovial has received the ‘Business Transparency’ award from the Spanish Association for Accounting and Administration (AECA). The award aims to recognize the effort and outcomes achieved by Spanish companies in sharing their information transparently. This demand, already being met by economic and social agents, makes it possible to see how reliable companies are when required to show their accounts.
Juan Francisco Polo, Ferrovial’s Director of Communication and CSR, received the award and virtually expressed the company’s gratitude for the recognition at the twentieth annual AECA Awards for Business Transparency.
“Receiving this award gives us great satisfaction because it is a first-rate recognition of the company’s efforts to act transparently and openly on the market at all times.”
XX AECA Award for Business Transparency. 20th year.
AECA carries out the recognitions in two modalities, for companies listed on IBEX-35, as is the case with Ferrovial, and IBEX Medium Cap and IBEX Small Cap companies. Regardless, the award is based on financial and corporate governance information, as well as other information of a social and environmental nature that is made public by the companies through their web pages and social networks.
