Ferrovial Services will be taking part in the Smart Buildings Conference at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (on 27 and 28 October) to present the conclusions of the TEDS4BEE energy efficiency innovation project (Test of Digital Services for Building Energy Efficiency)
. The company will give a talk about the topic of technology and solutions for smart buildings: "European Smart Buildings with Energy Efficiency Software”.
The TEDS4BEE project involved the launch of management software, EMMOS (Energy Management and Monitoring Operational System) in 16 public buildings in five countries: Poland, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Serbia. The EMMOS digital service provides a mechanism for monitoring energy consumption and forecasting energy usage and cost models for buildings. Despite not having to invest anything in the renovation of the facilities, an average of 15-30% has been saved in pilot buildings. The Intelligent Infrastructure Innovation Centre (CI3)
is the project's technical coordinator (TEDS4BEE).
In order to conclude the TEDS4BEE project, the latest review of the project took place on 15 October at the European Commission's headquarters in Brussels. The European Commission confirmed that the project's results were significant.
