A grand total of 16.8 million passengers traveled through Heathrow

As well as offering a better service, Heathrow is also lowering costs and offering increased value to both passengers and airlines. The high customer service standards were recognized at the Skytrax Awards
as Heathrow Airport maintains its status as ‘Best airport in Western Europe’ for second year running along with the additional familiar titles: ‘Best Airport for Shopping’ for the quality of the airport’s shops, restaurants and terminals for seventh year in a row and ‘World’s Best Airport Terminal’ for Terminal 5 for the fifth year in a row.
Regarding the financial performance, revenue is up 3.2% to £642 million and EBITDA (revenue minus costs) is up 7.3% to £367 million reflecting how costs are being reduced and becoming more efficient.
