have triumphed at the at the Glasgow Business Awards
, which took place on Thursday 6th
October at the city´s premier Hilton Glasgow Hotel.
The airport won both of the awards for which they were nominated, ´Excellence in Customer Service´ and ´Best Performing Business´(with over 50 employees.) In addition, Glasgow Airport also received the title of ´The Bank of Scotland
´s Most Outstanding Business – the most prestigious honour of the evening.
The judging panel praised the airport for their efforts in route development, as well as their continued investment and their commitment to customer service. Over two years the airport have taken on new routes to more than 50 European cities, such as Salzburg, Milan, Prague and Bucharest.
This treble-win of hand crafted trophies comes shortly after Glasgow´s being named Scottish
and European Airport of the Year.
Moreover, this year ,which happens to be their 50th
anniversary, is set to be their busiest year to date.
