Ferrovial Serviços, the Portuguese affiliate of Ferrovial Services, has won the tender for urban cleaning services in the Portuguese municipality of Cinfães. The contract, signed early in May this year, is for three years and covers the 14 parishes that constitute the municipality.
Services featured in the contract include waste collection and transport, the collection of bulk objects and the deployment, maintenance, cleaning and disinfection of skips. The municipal territory of Cinfães occupies some 239.29 km2.
Ferrovial Serviços expects to collect some 5270 tons of waste per year and clean and maintain more than 670 skips of various types every month. The town of Cinfães is rich in cultural and natural heritage and is home to some 20,427 inhabitants.
Ferrovial Serviços and urban cleaning services
Ferrovial Serviços was recently awarded the tender for urban cleaning services in the town of Ermesinde for the next four years in addition to a three-year municipal contract for solid waste collection and street cleaning in the town of Tarouca.
