Ferrovial's North American subsidiary, Webber, wins the 2016 Safety Award in the category of Large Contractors awarded by the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA).
In October, Curtis Van Cleve, Sr. Vice President of Operations and Sean Seelbach, Corporate Safety Director, accepted the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) 2016 Large Contractor Safety Award on behalf of Webber at the ARTBA National Convention in Arizona.
This is a huge win for Webber and really validates the commitment that the Company and every employee makes every day to make its project sites safer.
The judges focused on seven critical points, including: management commitment, employee participation, incident investigation, audit procedures, safety planning, management review/implementation and risk assessment.
Webber went head-to-head with Granite Construction, which is known for their strong safety program, and demonstrated Webber's culture of safety that has been built during the past few years.
