With the aim of fostering the development of new opportunities in the field of mobility related to the infrastructure business and to coordinate existing initiatives (like Zity and Wondo), Ferrovial has created the Mobility business unit and appointed Andrés Camacho as Director of Mobility.

Andrés holds A Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Deusto and a Master’s in Economics from the London School of Economics. He currently holds the position of Director of Innovation and Change at Ferrovial Servicios.

He began his career as an Investment Banking analyst with Goldman Sachs in London and joined Ferrovial in 2008 as Project Manager in the Strategy and Development department, focusing primarily on corporate development, while coordinating the sale of Swissport and the purchases of Enterprise and Steel Ingeniería. After a period spent in Amey as Director of Integration, he became Director of Strategy & Development, leading the international expansion of the company with the purchase of Broadspectrum.

Regarding this new challenge, Andrés Camacho says:

“Changes in consumer behaviour, the digital revolution, traffic congestion and pollution in cities are resulting in new, cleaner and more sustainable forms of mobility. At Ferrovial – with the core of our experience being in the development and operation of transport infrastructure and knowledge of its users – we want to take advantage of the opportunity that this transformation in society offers us by providing new mobility services that respond to these new challenges”.
