As 2018 gets into full swing it’s time to bring you January’s news highlights.

In the UK, Amey secured a JV contract to design, build and commission the new Tomatin electricity substation near Inverness, Heathrow was named best airport security in the world, and the UK government recognized Amey as a leader in inclusion and diversity policies.

Ontario’s minister announced the upcoming opening of part of the 407 East Phase 2 highway, Ferrovial Serviços was awarded the municipal services contract in Arouca, while Ferrovial Agroman Australia received BIM certification.

Ferrovial Services had their commitment to innovation recognised after being awarded by enerTIC for its software programme HEFESTO, and for the thirteenth year running, Ferrovial features in the FTSE4Good Sustainability Index.
